April 4, 1964: The Beatles held all five top spots on the singles charts here in the United States!
Those five songs were “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Twist and Shout,” “She Loves You,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “Please Please Me.”
They also held 12 of the top 79 spots.
I’m pretty sure that has no chance of ever happening again. But then again, there will never be another band like The Beatles.
