October 18, 1975: The second episode of Saturday Night Live featured Simon & Garfunkel as the musical guests. This performance represented a brief reunion for the duo.
October 18, 1988: Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1 was released. I don’t care what anyone else says, I love the two albums this extraordinary supergroup recorded.

Johnny Hallyday was/is France’s answer to Elvis. (not sure if he is still alive or not)
