Susan Tedeschi: Rock & Roll Birthday
November 9, 1970: Susan Tedeschi was born.
Susan is an outstanding rockin’ blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. She’s also married to another tremendous guitar player, Derek Trucks.
I’ve seen Susan perform with her band, with Derek on one of their Soul Stew Revival tours and as a guest with the Allman Brothers. Each time she freakin’ tore it up. If you haven’t seen her live, look for an opportunity to do so, because it’s really a treat.

I’ve also saw Susan Tedeschi back up the Allman Brothers! That was in 2000. Wondering if you and I were at the same show?

That was the year she opened for them at Summerfest. I was there.

That was a great show! (although I was bummed out that Dickey Betts was departed from the band)
