Much will be revealed Monday.

In the meantime, to quote the Fab Four, “All my loving, I will send to you.”

Sending Good Vibes to Gregg Allman

June 23, 2010 By: Joe Heuer Category: Rock & Roll News No Comments →

We’re sending good vibes to Gregg Allman, who had a liver transplant this morning in Florida. Fortunately, the news reports are saying the operation went well.

I just saw Gregg in concert a month ago, and he was truly at the top of his game onstage.

Obviously, the Allman Brothers Band had to cancel their appearance at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival this Saturday.

Wishing you a speedy and complete recovery, Gregg. We love you, brother.

Rock & Roll Supergroup on Tour This Summer

June 19, 2010 By: Joe Heuer Category: Rock & Roll Concerts, Rock & Roll News, Rock and Roll History No Comments →

A new (sort of) supergroup is hitting the road this summer, and they are a must-see on my concert schedule.

The group is called Dukes of September Rhythm Review, and features the trio of Donald Fagen, Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs. The last time I saw these cats together was 1992 when they teamed with Phoebe Snow, Charles Brown and Eddie & David Brigati as the New York Rock and Soul Review…and it was phenomenal.

I’ve already got their September 15th Milwaukee show on my calendar.

Be sure to catch this band when they’re in your town cuz it’s certain to be a stone groove.

This is going to be an absolutely AMAZING year for Rock & Roll at Summerfest!

It’s more than two months before The Big Gig, and they’ve already confirmed these A-list rockers, putting a huge smile on my face. Check this out:

Eric Clapton with Roger Daltrey (2 days after Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival)

Carlos Santana with Steve Winwood (just announced this morning)

The Moody Blues

Jeff Beck

The Wailers

How cool is that?!?!? And there’s plenty more to come…

Hope you can make it to Milwaukee to party with us for 11 days at this year’s edition of Summerfest!

The Rock and Roll Guide to Customer Loyalty

February 12, 2010 By: Joe Heuer Category: Rock & Roll Customer Service, Rock & Roll News, Rockin' Books 3 Comments →

I just finished writing The Rock and Roll Guide to Customer Loyalty yesterday. To the best of my knowledge, it’s the first book that interprets customer service & customer loyalty entirely through our favorite musical genre. It will be released this spring.

Part of the reason I haven’t been writing here much lately is cuz my attention has been on completing the book before our vacation.

Speaking of our vacation, we’re leaving tomorrow morning for lovely Belize, which is perfect timing since we just got a foot of snow this week. Another example of the rock & roll gods smiling on me.

Peace, love & joy to all.
