Frank Zappa: Rock & Roll Wisdom
“Watch out where the huskies go, and don’t you eat that yellow snow.”-Frank Zappa
This is simply good old-fashioned common sense. However, as we all know, just because something is common sense does not necessarily mean that it is common practice.
All too often we get caught up in the chaos of our daily lives and common sense gets lost in the equation.
Unfortunately, in my life that’s pretty common.
Fortunately, thanks to Zappa, at least I have learned not to eat what I used to think was lemon snow. I always thought it tasted a little funny.
Thought this one was appropriate today as we celebrate Zappa’s birthday.

I can’t decide what my favorite quote is…
“Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible”
or…. “There is a big difference between kneeling down and bending over”
or from the Real Frank Zappa book… “I never ate sh*t on stage, actually the closet I ever came to eating sh*t was at a Holiday Inn buffet in Fayettville, North Carolina”

He has so many insightful & hilarious quotes, it’s hard to choose just one. I posted several of them on Twitter today.

Those are great quotes, Bill. I thought I would add another of my favorites. In fact, I use the following as a tag line on outgoing emails.
“It would be easier to pay off the national debt overnight than to neutralize the long-range effects of our national stupidity.”
