Why do you never cover any of the acts appearing at the Cascio/WMSE Groove Garage? These are great local acts who need your kind of support! Two great bands played last night, Juniper Tar and The Celebrated Working Man. Summerfest should not only be about supporting national acts. It should also be about helping to support a very talented local community. I am certain that both acts last night were much better than listening to “Take the Money and Run” for yet another time. A true Rock and Roll Guru would be aware of his own local scene.

Thanks for the feedback and you are right–we do have a thriving local music scene here in Milwaukee.
Some of the stuff I’ve written is exclusively on the official Summerfest blog, so you can view more of the local stuff there, including a fabulous band called Kinetic that I saw on the Cascio/WMSE stage. They were outstanding!
