Allman Brothers/Eric Clapton: Rock & Roll Video
To celebrate Warren Haynes’ birthday (which was yesterday), here he is trading licks with Eric Clapton on Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing” a couple weeks ago during the Allman Brothers’ 15-show run at The Beacon.

If I were Derek, I would be a bit thunderstruck myself!. Ya think he is?

If it were me, I’d probably wet my pants.
However, since Derek toured with Clapton a couple years ago and has been playing with Warren for about 20 years, I’m guessing he was feelin’ alright.

Great video. I saw Derek a few months back at the Highline Ballroom in NYC, he’s amazing to watch..but playing with Clapton I’m sure he always gets a little nervous..I would!
I actually just visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ANNEX in NYC a few days ago, and it was great! They have Clapton’s Martin 000042 Acoustic Guitar, among numerous other momentos so that was awesome to see.
If you are in New York or the surrounding areas I would reccomend checking out the ANNEX. You can even get discounted tickets when you mention ANNEX09, so that is a plus!
Just a tip for all you NY rock enthusiasts =)

I’ll be heading to NYC next month, and I’m looking forward to visiting the Annex.
