Pink Floyd & Led Zeppelin: Rock & Roll History
Rock & Roll History on this date includes two particularly groovy events.
October 15, 1966: Pink Floyd played their first major gig at London’s Roundhouse. It was an all-night rave and launch party for the underground newspaper The International Times.
October 15, 1968: Led Zeppelin played their very first concert at Surrey University.
If those two phenomenal bands ever merged, would they be Pink Zeppelin? Or perhaps Led Floyd? Or maybe even Floyd Zeppelin?
