The Who: Rock and Roll History
The Who released the amazing double album rock opera Tommy 41 years ago today, which just happened to be Pete Townshend’s 24th birthday. Written primarily by Townshend, Tommy undeniably serves as testimony to his genius.
It was The Who’s fourth album, and eventually it evolved into both a film and a Broadway musical.
