Happy Rock & Roll birthday to the groovy singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Joe Jackson.

I’ve dug Joe since his debut album, “Look Sharp,” was released in ‘79, and that one remains one of my Desert Island Discs. I’ve only seen him live a couple times, the coolest of which was during the acoustic tour he did with Todd Rundgren about five years ago.
